FACEBOOK DEBUTS GLOBAL EDITION OF COMMUNITY: "In response to the coronavirus outbreak, Facebook is supporting the global public health community's work to keep people safe and informed. Since the World Health Organization declared the coronavirus a public health emergency in January, we've taken steps to make sure everyone has access to accurate information, stop misinformation and harmful content, and support global health experts, local governments, businesses and communities. Here's an overview of our work and shortcuts to more information. We'll continue to add to this post as we announce updates.Today we're announcing Community Help, a place for people to request or offer help to neighbors, such as volunteering to deliver groceries or donating to a local food pantry or fundraiser. You can access Community Help in the COVID-19 Information Center on Facebook or by visiting facebook.com/covidsupport. We're starting to roll it out in the US, the UK, France, Australia and Canada in the next few days, and we're working to bring it to more countries in the coming weeks," said Facebook in a blog post on March 31.

SNAPCHAT AND TRILLER TO INTEGRATE USING SNAP KIT: On March 31, Triller, an AI-powered music sharing social media app, announced a step to integrate into the Snap feed and story, for Triller users. Snap Users with Triller can "harness Triller's state-of-the-art technology, engage its rapidly growing user community, and provide Triller, Snapchat users with the seamless ability to create professional looking music videos via this integration," Triller stated in its announcement of the integration. "Snapchat is our ideal partner. The depth and breadth of their user, along with their understanding of today's culture is unparalleled. SLACK ROLLS OUT CALL INTEGRATIONS FOR MICROSOFT TEAMS, ZOOM: On April 1, The Verge's Tom Warren reported that Slack (WORK) is rolling out a new app that will integrate Microsoft Teams (MSFT) calling features into its chat app. The Microsoft Teams Calls beta app comes just days after Slack said it was developing the integration, though it will only let Slack users launch Team calls from Slack rather than engage in them directly within Slack, Warren says. In addition, Slack is also launching VoIP phone integration with Zoom (ZM), WebEx, Jabber, RingCentral (RNG), and Dialpad, the author noted.
